Smarts about Windows .. and more.
I specialize in providing expert consulting and training in a wide range of Microsoft technologies.
Having worked on this platform since the DOS days, I understand this platform from the metal to the latest leading bleeding edge.
I am
Sahil Malik, author, trainer and consultant in various Microsoft technologies. I am a
Microsoft MVP, an
INETA speaker, and
a prolific author and speaker.
More than anything else, I enjoy consulting and delivering solutions, I feel this keeps my nails sharp. I try and not rise to a stratospheric level of management, architecture and training where I get out of touch with what I love doing.
I am an avid blogger. I frequently write about technical stuff, opinions, and other
stuff on my blog at
blah.winsmarts.com.
I have authored three books, one of which, "Pro ADO.NET 2.0" was a solo effort and
ended up being one of the highest sold ADO.NET 2.0 books. I have also authored a
number of articles in leading magazines and websites. You can view a continous roster
of my previous and upcoming
writings.
I believe in community contributions, for purely personal benefit. As I interact
with fellow developers in real time, I tend to learn more myself. It is truly a
candle lights another candle example.
As always, I am anxious to hear from you. I love interacting with fellow techies, but due to the huge volume of emails I receive everyday,
I cannot personally answer every single email I get. For individual technical queries and questions, please try searching my blog and the net for answers first.
If you feel you have a rather compelling and interesting problem, I would love to hear about you, but due to a very heavy workload and commitments, I cannot answer your queries in a timely manner.
If you are contacting me regarding a legitimate work request, please include as much information as you can, and I will be in touch shortly.
Regardless, I do read every single email I get, so please feel free to
contact me.
